DFS IT needs developers who are skilled, passionate about coding and care about not only delivering but doing it the right way, with the right tools and processes. Developers that are not afraid of taking ownership of their product and its code, that raise the right questions and are always eager to learn, and constantly pursue technical excellence.
*Responsibilities*
Drive and push the usage of new technologies and how to properly use them within DFS
Develop a new core product written mainly in C# using .net core
Help solve architectural and technical challenges that will be identified and tackled by the dev team
Take dev ownership for a new product and have the opportunity to support it through all its cycle
Learn and study the usage of new technologies and share it with the team
*Requirements*
Solid knowledge of at least one modern object oriented programming language, e.g., C#, Java, Python. And its related tools, ecosystem and best practices.
Experience with writing tests, including unit and integration tests.
Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs, Libraries or utilities.
Passion for coding with high quality, simplicity and readability always in mind.
Familiarity with one PaaS or IaaS platform such as AWS, GCP, Azure or PCF.
Awareness of Microservices architecture concepts and best practices.
Strong English communication skills.
5+ years of related experience with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study
*Nice to Have*
Experience with .net core and asp.net core development
Open-Source contributions
Experience with Git version control system.
Experience with CI/CD and tooling, e.g., GitLab, Jenkins.
Experience with Messaging Systems. e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka.
Experience with document oriented NoSQL DBs. e.g., MongoDB, CouchDB.
